Contextualized education as a model to optimize meaningful learning

Abstract




Through this research, it was proposed to determine the effects of Contextualized Education as a model to optimize meaningful learning, on the educational reality of a training Institution in Babahoyo, 2021, applied inquiry, with a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental design, which used two units of analysis, The control group made up of 33 students and the experimental group made up of 34 students, both groups answered the instrument made up of 20 questions, each one was valid by the experts, obtaining a total reliability in the McDonald's test of 0.940. In the description of the data of the post-test applied to the students of the control group, the upper level was the medium with a percentage of 69.7%, while the experimental group reached a predominance of the high range with a percentage of 88.24%; On the other hand, the inferential results indicated by the Mann Whitney U test a value of 450.00 in the pretest and a Sig. of 0.164, as for the posttest the value was 88,500 and the Sig of 0.000. In this way, it was found that the contextualized education model optimizes significant learning and its dimensions with positive effects.
